Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung Wibowo, Monday (3/10), conducted joint break fast with 200 residents of Kebon Singkong, Klender Urban Village, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta.

The activity held during Safari Ramadan program was held at At Taubah Mosque, Jalan Pertanian Selatan.

The governor also distributed assistances Rp 35 million from Baznas Bazis.

Moreover, Acting East Jakarta Mayor, Iin Mutmainah also provided assistances in form of a coffin, a set of hadroh musical instruments and a set of table tennis.

Pramono said his visit to the mosque was want to meet the residents closer and know the atmosphere of a mosque in the suburb.

"The Ramadan activity runs smoothly in this area. Hopefully there will be no more brawl so residents can live peacefully," Pramono said.

Pramono added that Jakarta Provincial Government seriously wants to improve Ulama and Umaro relationship to be better. As Umaro, he wants to listen the resident's hope.

"I was asked to improve the river retaining wall right after I arrived here. The things that need to be improved will be run optimally," he added.

Responding the resident's request, Pramono then directly appealed Acting East Jakarta Mayor, Iin Mutmainnah, to check the retaining wall condition. Hopefully the broken retaining wall can be fixed as soon as possible.

Pramono stated that Jakarta Provincial Governmenr will routinely provide umrah and reactivate BOTI program.

Meanwhile, At Taubah Mosque DKM Chairman, Mustakim, admitted it was an honor for Klender Urban Village residents for having the Governor and Jakarta Provincial Government officials at the mosque.

"It is an honor for us. The governor also directly responds our resident's request about the retaining wall," he admitted.
